100 Jahre Bauhaus-Interventionen zur Formbehauptung von Kreis, Quadrat und Dreieck im Raum
Die dreiteilige Interventionsreihe Neogeo Outlet wird an verschiedenen Orten (Freiburg, Stuttgart-Mitte & Stuttgart-Vaihingen) in/durch die Ausstellungsräume entwickelt und untersucht unter Variation des Kontextes jeweils eine der drei geometrischen Grundformen (Kreis, Quadrat, Dreieck) im Raum. Durch Installation, Malerei, Siebdruck und Zeichnung, wird eine Neuinterpretation und die Behauptung der Form vorgenommen. Die grundlegenden Gestaltungselemente des Bauhauses sind in meiner Arbeit essentiell. Ich überführe den anhaltenden künstlerischen Dialog in die Gegenwart und beziehe mich auf den historischen Hintergrund, das kulturelle und küstlerische Erbe des Bauhauses.
100 years of Bauhaus-Interventions on the assertion of form for circle, square and triangle in space
The three-part intervention series Neogeo Outlet is developed in/through the exhibition spaces at different locations (Freiburg, Stuttgart-Mitte & Stuttgart-Vaihingen) and examines one of the three basic geometric forms (circle, square, triangle) in space, varying the context in each case.
Through installation, painting, silkscreen and drawing, a reinterpretation and assertion of form is undertaken. The basic design elements of the Bauhaus are essential in my work. I transfer the ongoing artistic dialogue into the present and refer to the historical background as cultural and artistic heritage of the Bauhaus.
