Rauminstallation Spotlight in der Ad-hoc Galerie, Bochum
Drei leuchtend gelbe Kreise sind an variierenden Positionen auf die drei Wandflächen präzise an die Begrenzungen von Boden und Decke gemalt. Die Kreise berühren an den Stellen ihrer maximalen Ausdehnung die äußersten Kanten der weißen Wände im Raumquader. Die frisch gestrichene Weiße im Kontrast zum strahlenden Gelb läßt die monochrome Farbe oszillieren und im Auge des Betrachters schwingen. Trotz oder gerade wegen der exakt gezogenen Kontur der Kreisform beginnen die Flächen zu vibrieren und verwandeln die Garage in ein Farbfeld voll Lichtenergie. Die Formen suchen nach Weite und deren Konstellation sprengen die wahrnehmbaren Raumgrenzen. Für den Betrachter entsteht eine neuer Raum im Raum.

Three bright yellow circles are painted at varying positions on the three surfaces of the walls. Positioned precisely at the boundaries of floor and ceiling. The circles touch the outermost edges of the walls in the room and stretch to the points of their maximum extension. The contrast if the freshly painted white and radiant evoke the colors to oscillate and vibrate in the eye of the beholder.The forms search for expanse and their constellation bursts at the perceptible spatial boundaries.
